The American Concrete Pavement Association (ACPA) is a trade association that works to support the concrete pavement industry across the country. Members of the ACPA include designers, consultants, equipment manufacturers, contractors, and material producers.
What does the ACPA do?
The ACPA:
- Coordinates state and local chapters of the ACPA
- Provides technical guidelines and sets industry standards
- Educates members, public policy officials, and relevant stakeholders
- Supports research
- Encourages the development of high-quality, sustainable paving products
- Facilitates the professional development of its members
- Holds annual events and meetings
- Offers business resources and networking opportunities to its members
- Presents awards to leading companies in the industry
ACPA Membership
The American Concrete Pavement Association offers memberships to individuals and businesses. The ACPA has over 2,000 individual members and almost 400 member companies. Members include concrete consultants, cement companies, contractors, students, educators, material suppliers, and equipment producers.
To become a member, the individual or the firm must complete an application process and pay annual dues. In most cases, the annual dues are based on the size of the company or the amount of work performed by the contractors. For concrete pavement contractors, the amount of dues paid represent a percentage of their work volume. For a cement company, the amount of dues paid are based on the number of plants that the company runs.
