American Society of Concrete Contractors
The American Society of Concrete Contractors (or ASCC) is an organization of concrete contractors, manufacturers, and other closely-related professionals. The mission of the organization is to advocate for the interests of the concrete contractor and to ensure continuous improvement of the quality of concrete work completed in the construction industry. The society was founded by concrete contractors
Members of the ASCC are not just concrete contractors. They are also manufacturers, designers, and material suppliers, in addition to other related professionals. The ASCC works to ensure its members are competent and successful business professionals.
What does the ASCC do?
The ASCC:
- Promotes safety and risk management when working with concrete
- Facilitates the professional development of its members
- Encourages community amongst industry professionals
- Provide technical guidelines and business advice
- Publishes a monthly newsletter
- Helps contractors promote and market their individual businesses
Membership options
There are currently about 500 member companies. They include contracting firms, consulting firms, architecture and engineering firms, ready mixed plants, and other professional services related to the use of concrete. There are four membership options.
